American Peanut Council working with FDA to protect consumer safety
Retail peanut butter on grocery shelves not affected by FDA advisory
The American Peanut Council (APC) continues to work with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate which products may be affected by a manufacturer’s recall, and advises consumers that at this time, there is no indication that any national name brand jars of peanut butter sold in retail stores are linked to the recall by Georgia-based Peanut Corporation of America (PCA).

Logan’s Roadhouse introduces new signature dessert in conjunction with Peanut Advisory Board
Logan’s Roadhouse® introduced it’s new signature dessert - Nutter Butter Fudgeslide - in October in conjunction with Peanut Advisory Board. The new dessert features layers of chilled Chocolate Mousse, fudge and Nutter Butter Infusions topped with whipped cream and a crunchy Nutter Butter cookie. It all comes in a mini version of Logan’s signature peanut bucket and the mini bucket is yours to keep!

“ We’re thrilled to have been able to work with Logan’s on this promotion,” says Leslie Wagner, executive director of Peanut Advisory Board. “It gets Southeastern peanuts in the form of peanut butter onto the menu of a popular chain known and loved by our farmers.”

Logan’s is pitching the dessert in a special stand alone menu as “Our Sweet Little Answer to ‘I’m too Stuffed for Dessert’.” This smaller-sized dessert is on the leading edge of current restaurant trends offering something smaller and less expensive but with big flavor to sweeten the end of any meal.
